Some promise you an internship and even high-earning career opportunities. Don’t enroll in paid courses yet; I will guide you on how you can get a free digital marketing course in Nepal.
Am not saying digital marketing institutes in Nepal are bad. There are good trainers as well. But the digital marketing field is where self-learning, research, and practical experience matter. Don’t just enroll in courses and just think you will remember everything.
“Voli practice garamla”, “Yaad vaihalxa ni malai”. Bro, this is where you will waste your money.
You can learn a significant amount of fundamentals and even advanced lessons without spending thousands of rupees on a course. I have seen people enrolling in courses like Digital Marketing with AI. What I feel is that people who enroll in this course will never benefit from it. You are wasting thousands of Nepalese rupees just to learn how to add prompts and generate images with AI.
Can you learn Digital Marketing for Free in Nepal?
Yes.
You don’t need to get expensive course to understand fundamentals of Social Media marketing or SEO. There are awesome free resources from platforms such as HubSpot Academy, Google, YouTube, Alison, and Simplilearn.
The bigger challenge in learning Digital Marketing is not finding resources. It’s actually learning and applying it in the real world.
There’s a famous saying in Nepali: “पढायो पढायो पाठ, सोह्र दुना आठ”
You can go through 1000 videos on how to get started with Meta ads and still have no idea how to figure out how to run a campaign properly if you never created one yourself.

Those certificates won’t answer the questions; your experience and practical implementation will. This is why I strongly recommend working on real-world projects while learning.

- Start making Educational content or any content you are interested in
- Or promote your small business

- Experiment with different audiences
- Analyze campaign results
- Improve your campaign with some changes
Even a small personal project can teach you things that an online course or any classroom cannot.
During my Bachelor’s (BSc.Computer Science and Information Technology) I learned lots of programming languages, and yes, I learned. It was only when I started to work on my side projects that I got to know a lot about what I was doing. Just going through the videos and courses will waste your time. Until and unless you start the execution, you will start to actually gain something.
Less Talk, less scroll, less saving marketing tips videos, and more execution is how you exel in anything.
